The last IT vendor you need to hire.
Loopback is a managed IT and security partner. We take monitoring, helpdesk, cybersecurity, backup, cloud, and hardware so you have one team when something breaks — not a list of vendors pointing at each other. Twenty years. No long-term contracts.
Month-to-month · No cancellation fees · 24/7 support
Why one provider
You should not need a vendor for every product you already paid for.
When something breaks, you should have one number to call. Loopback covers monitoring, identity, email, endpoints, backup, and the hardware people actually use — so you are not stuck in a loop of vendors pointing at each other.
No long-term contracts
Month-to-month agreements. No cancellation fees. You stay because the work is good — not because a clause says you have to.
One partner. One number.
Monitoring, helpdesk, security, backup, hardware, and cloud sit with one team. When something breaks, you call us — not a chain of vendors.
Your name stays yours
We do not publish client logos. Your name, your data, and your environment stay private. References happen in a conversation, not on a homepage.
Twenty years of showing up
Founded in Edmonton in 2006. We still take the 2 a.m. call. The stack has changed. The obligation has not.
Services
Everything required to keep the lights on.
Operations
24/7 monitoring
Round-the-clock surveillance of networks, servers, and critical devices so issues are found before users feel them.
Support
Helpdesk & support
Remote and on-site support from a team that answers quickly and closes tickets. Average first response: 14 minutes.
Security
Cybersecurity
Endpoint, network, cloud, and identity protection — with SIEM monitoring and a security operations practice that treats ransomware as a when, not an if.
Resilience
Backup & recovery
3-2-1 backup across local, off-site, and cloud copies so ransomware, fire, flood, or a deleted mailbox is an inconvenience — not an ending.
Cloud
Cloud services
Assessment, migration, and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure — with security, cost control, and 24/7 support attached.
Hardware
Hardware as a service
Lease, refresh, and support business hardware on a predictable monthly cost — plus procurement and licensing when buying still makes sense.
Mobility
Mobile device management
Secure and manage phones and tablets: encryption, remote wipe, app control, and less money wasted on unmanaged endpoints in pockets.
Communications
VoIP
Internet calling that follows the staff, not the desk — lower telco cost, easier remote work, and lines you can add without a truck roll.
Workplace
Remote work
Secure access to files, desktops, and collaboration tools for people who are not in the office — without turning the living room into a hole in the network.
Onboarding
Switching providers should not be a leap of faith. We run it as a project.
- 01
Consultation
We map how the business actually runs — not a generic stack diagram. Tools, risks, budget, and what “good” looks like for your team.
- 02
Kickoff
Once we agree, we set goals, access, and a timeline. You meet the people who will pick up the phone, not a project code name.
- 03
Discovery
We inventory infrastructure, applications, identities, backups, and the quiet gaps: stale accounts, unpatched appliances, single points of failure.
- 04
Assessment & plan
You get a written plan: what we will fix first, what can wait, and what it costs. No surprise invoices dressed up as “found issues.”
- 05
Implementation
Firewalls, endpoint protection, backup, identity, monitoring — deployed against the plan you approved, in a window that respects operations.
- 06
Monitor & maintain
24/7 monitoring, patching, and helpdesk take over. The work does not end at go-live. That is the point of a managed service.
- 07
Report & review
Regular reporting on tickets, threats, and health. Review meetings so the strategy can change when the business does.
Pricing
Simple per-user pricing. No long-term contract.
Pay for the people you support, not a mystery bundle. Mix Basic, Standard, and Advanced. Annual billing is available; published rates are monthly CAD.
Basic
$50 CAD / user
Standard
$105 CAD / user
Advanced
$138 CAD / user
Industries
Healthcare, construction, law, hospitality — the stack changes. The obligation does not.
Healthcare
Clinics and health operators that cannot have an EHR, imaging, or front desk go dark — or leak.
Finance
Firms that sell trust. Logging, MFA, and a partner who keeps your name off our homepage.
Manufacturing
Plant floors, offices, and the awkward network in between — kept running and kept apart where they should be.
Construction and infrastructure
Job sites, trailers, and head office on one identity — phones and laptops that leave town every Monday.
Government and public sector
Procurement-aware IT support with logging, documented operations, and a partner who understands public-sector expectations.
Law
Matters, mailboxes, and mobility — with privilege treated as a system requirement.
Real estate
Brokerages and property operators whose offices are wherever the showing is.
Hospitality and tourism
Front desk, payments, and Wi-Fi that guests notice — in a sector that does not pause for IT windows.
Nonprofit and not-for-profit
Mission-driven teams that still hold donor and client data — on a budget that is not a bank’s.
FAQ
Questions we hear most.
Where is Loopback based?
Loopback is an Alberta company, founded in Edmonton in 2006. We support businesses across the province and the rest of Canada. Correspondence goes to PO Box 448, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0. Support is remote-first and 24/7, with on-site visits where your plan includes them.
How long has Loopback been in business?
Loopback was founded in 2006. We have been providing managed IT and security services to Canadian businesses for 20 years.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. Managed service agreements are month to month. There are no term lengths and no cancellation fees. We keep clients by answering the phone, not by trapping them in a schedule.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is per user, per month, in Canadian dollars. Basic is $50, Standard is $105, and Advanced is $138. You mix plans if some people only need email and a phone while others need a full workstation stack. Use the calculator on the pricing page for a working total.
What is your average support response time?
Average ticket response is 14 minutes. Average resolution is 1 hour 10 minutes. Guaranteed response times are defined in your service agreement.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Yes. Monitoring and support are staffed 24/7. Business-hours unlimited support is included on published plans; after-hours coverage is part of how we run managed environments. Ask during consultation how that maps to your locations and on-call expectations.
Will you list my company as a customer?
No. We do not publish client names, logos, or case studies. If you want a reference, we will arrange a private conversation.
What size of company do you work with?
We started with small Edmonton businesses in 2006, expanded with multi-location retail in 2007, and have supported organizations with more than 1,000 employees since 2015. The process is the same: discovery, a written plan, then managed operations.
Ready to see if Loopback is the right fit?
Tell us how many people you support and what is getting in the way. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right partner — and if we are not, we will say so.
