VoIP needs a network. We design with failover options where the business cannot miss calls — cellular backup, a second circuit, or forwarding rules. We will not pretend a single consumer cable modem is a carrier-grade pair.
Can we keep our existing numbers?
In most cases, yes. Number porting is a process with the current carrier. We plan it so the cutover is a date, not a surprise silence.
